Pretend Better: Creating Characters, Building Backstory, Finding Their Voice

  • Village Meeple Board Game Cafe 1570 East Battlefield Road Suite F Springfield, MO, 65804 United States (map)

Our Pretend Better Workshops are dedicated to players of various Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPG). RPG has exploded past just Dungeons and Dragons, and there are more systems than ever to find something that appeals to you and your gaming group.

This month’s Pretend Better Workshop features Kaleb Norman. Kaleb is a wonderful human being who has his BFA in Acting. He uses those skills to game and Larp with gusto! He is the Education Outreach Specialist at Springfield Little Theatre and the Multimedia Track Director for Tremendicon. Kaleb acts onstage, in film, directs, and has recently seen his writing produced on stage and in film as well!

While playing any RPG, creating your gaming character is the first step! Kaleb will provide tips on character creation, building a backstory and finding your character’s voice.

Pretend Better Workshops are free with your paid $5 admission. Seats are limited. Email Info@VillageMeeple.com or call 417-324-4563 to save your spot!
