In partnership with The Library Center, join us for our monthly book club! Each month we will select a board game and a book with similar theme to discuss and play.

For December, we will play Flamecraft, an adorable worker placement game for 1-5 players. Artisan dragons, the smaller and magically talented versions of their larger (and destructive) cousins, are sought by shopkeepers so that they may delight customers with their flamecraft. You are a Flamekeeper, skilled in the art of conversing with dragons, placing them in their ideal home and using enchantments to entice them to produce wondrous things. Your reputation will grow as you aid the dragons and shopkeepers, and the Flamekeeper with the most reputation will be known as the Master of Flamecraft.

We will be reading Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree. Viv, a battle-weary orc, is hanging up her sword and aiming to start fresh by opening the first-ever coffee shop in Thune. Can she leave her bloody past behind to brew a solid cup of joe?
